National Sports Sunday Highlight - Ireland 

The Ards Football Club and Bangor Football Club Chaplaincy Teams jointly hosted a service on Sunday 12th May at Bangor Elim Church to celebrate National Sports Sunday. At the event, Northern Ireland Women’s National Team Chaplain Tracey Robinson, and former Linfield and Crusaders player Sid Burrows shared their thoughts on Chaplaincy, faith and football. The service concluded with a reflection by Philip Mitchell from Sports Chaplaincy Ireland. The organisers were delighted by the response to the event and would like to thank everyone who attended. There continues to be a strong growth in the number of Chaplains serving clubs in a range of sports in the Ards & North Down area.
