Ally is well known to us all at the club having been a player (he hasn’t hung up the boots just yet!), manager and coach over the years and is looking forward to this new opportunity.

A few words from Ally, “I am delighted to have been appointed as Chaplain to Dungannon RFC. I am looking forward to serving the community right throughout the club from the players, to the volunteers, to the coaches. My role is to be an encourager, a good listener and to help you through whatever life may bring your way. I look forward to meeting up with those of you I already know and getting to know those of you I have yet to meet. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if the need should arise”
Philip Mitchell , Sports Chaplaincy coordinator for Ireland commented “Congratulations to Dungannon for making this appointment and for the recognition that having someone like Ally is an important step for the club in providing additional support for players, staff, administrators, volunteers and families across the whole club. In Ally they have appointed someone who understands well the rugby setting at Dungannon and who has a big heart for people”.
