Earlier this week our Chairman Warren Patton received the Mayor’s Certificate of Acknowledgement from Ards and North Down Mayor Trevor Cummings.
We received the award for our community work over the last 12 months which included helping the Newtownards Foodbank and providing a lunch for the staff at the Ulster Hospital.
Also included in the photograph is our club chaplain Sam Magill, club secretary Andrew Rodgers, Newtownards Chronicle writer Dennis Nash and award organiser Dessie Coffey. We thank the Chronicle for supplying the photograph.
