We have a new 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗡! 👏
David Wilson has been appointed as our new Club Chaplain. He will be formally introduced sometime soon, but for now, give this is a read to understand what his role in the Club means.
The primary focus of having David as our Club Chaplain is to offer pastoral and spiritual care to all within our rugby community, without partiality or prejudice. This entails being available to listen, discuss, encourage, advise and help in any way possible, and practical, in matters of concern regarding the well-being of any member (all such interactions being conducted in a spirit of confidentiality and Christian love).
The introduction of a Chaplain within our Club is a very positive and proactive step, acknowledging the duty-of-care that we have towards our community. It also recognises that the secret to individuals achieving their maximum potential, requires attention to their spiritual, emotional and physical needs.
