⚽CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT⚽
Lisburn Ladies FC are delighted to announce that the Club will now have its own Sports Chaplain, as we welcome Lois Curragh to the club & into her new role 💙⚽💙
Russell Bowers Coordinator for Sports Chaplaincy Northern Ireland said, “Congratulations to everyone within the Lisburn Ladies Football Club Family on the appointment of Lois.
Well done in particular to General Manager Hayden Davis for recognising the value of Lois’s role and the warm introduction he has provided.”
Lois has the benefit of Training and Support from
Sports Chaplaincy Ireland who are also part of Sports Chaplaincy UK. Lois’s role will be to provide a supportive, non-judgemental, listening ear and in general support individuals through life’s ever-changing events and challenges. Lois will be present at either training session or matches on a regular basis and she is looking forward to getting to know the Players and Staff over the coming months”
GM Hayden Davis commented –
As a Club Committee we knew that this role & working along side Sports Chaplaincy Ireland was the right thing to do not only for our Players, Staff & Parents but also with how the Club Off the Pitch continues to sets high standards & professionalism.
We are delighted to have Lois on board, Lois has grown up in Lisburn and has taught in a local High School for 30 years. She has also been involved with Youth Work over many years. A mum of three adult children and married to Aaron the family are all keen sports enthusiasts so we’ve no doubt we’ll be seeing them at Ballymacash Sports Academy Bluebell Stadium to cheer on our Girls in Blue 💙⚽💙
