PLHC appoints new Club Chaplain
We are delighted to announce that we have appointed a chaplain for Portadown Ladies Hockey Club. Sharon Moore is originally from Portadown and represented the club in the past. She comes to us under the auspices of Sports Chaplaincy UK and Ireland.
Sports Chaplaincy is a Christian charity which trains and equips chaplains to serve within sports settings. Chaplains are primarily encouragers but are also excellent listeners trained to help people navigate through difficulties in life and to provide pastoral care and support for everyone.
