Sports Chaplaincy UK is committed to serving sports people at major events with excellence in chaplaincy and providing pastoral and spiritual care for those of all faiths and none.
Sports Chaplaincy UK has provided chaplaincy to many major sporting events across the globe including previous Commonwealth Games (Delhi 2010, Glasgow 2014, and Gold Coast, Australia 2018).

Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games
Preparations for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham have been going on for several years already and Sports Chaplaincy UK are passionate about training up sports chaplains to be servant-hearted, striving to be pastorally proactive and spiritually reactive for all those involved in the Games.
Taster sessions
We are running Taster Sessions to give you a flavour of what is involved and provide information to help serve the churches of Birmingham and others in the UK in coordinating a chaplaincy approach for the Commonwealth Games in 2022.
Our heart is that chaplaincy at the Games lead on to opportunities for the establishment of a number of new sports chaplaincy appointments in various sports clubs, teams, and governing bodies across the city and the UK.
